On behalf of the Government and the People of the Republic of Seychelles, kindly allow me the opportunity to present to you our sincere commendations upon your appointment as the new Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic.

Our ministries have collaborated closely for many years and I am certain that this will continue and most importantly that it will further develop under your leadership. I look forward to working with you for the further enhancement of our existing relations and in the light, would like to avail of this occasion to wish you all the best in your new post.

The period leading from the establishment of our diplomatic links has led to our collaboration in various areas such as military, as well as tourism and culture. It is our sincere hope that such cooperation can continue between our countries.
