L\u2019Ambasciatore d\u2019Italia in Kenya,\u00a0Vincenzo Del Monaco<\/strong>, ha presentato oggi le lettere credenziali al Presidente keniano S.E. William Ruto, in una cerimonia solenne tenutasi presso la\u00a0State House<\/strong> di Nairobi. Accolto dal Capo del Protocollo e dai principali collaboratori presidenziali, l’Ambasciatore ha rappresentato al Presidente keniano, S.E. William Ruto i saluti del Presidente della Repubblica, S.E. Sergio Mattarella, <\/strong>pronunciando il seguente discorso:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Your Excellency,<\/em><\/p>\n

Allow me Your Excellency to present the compliments of the President of the Republic<\/em>
\nof Italy, His Excellency Sergio Mattarella, and of the people of Italy to you personally and,<\/em>
\nthrough you, to the people of Kenya.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is my earnest hope that I shall succeed in my endeavours to promote further the relation<\/em>
\nthat exists between our two countries.<\/em><\/p>\n

It is a long-standing relationship based on mutual respect, friendship, and close<\/em>
\ncollaboration. The State Visit of Italy\u2019s President, His Excellency Sergio Mattarella, was a<\/em>
\nlandmark event, and it significantly enhanced the bilateral political dialogue. I am<\/em>
\ndetermined to be of service to the strengthening of this dialogue.<\/em><\/p>\n

Ushirikiano wetu unajumuisha nyanja zote, ikiwemo sekta ya anga. Mpango unaoitwa<\/em>
\nMattei Plan for Africa, ni kichocheo kikubwa na chombo muhimu cha kuimarisha zaidi<\/em>
\nmahusiano yetu kwenye sekta mbalimbali. Tunajifunza kutoka kwa kila mmoja, tunatumia<\/em>
\nnguvu zetu kwa pamoja na kusaidiana kwenye udhaifu wetu, na tunafanya kazi kukamilisha<\/em>
\nmalengo ya pamoja ndani ya mfumo unaozingatia matokeo.<\/em><\/p>\n

People, Prosperity and Planet are the three pillars on which our innovative development<\/em>
\nco-operation is based. Together, we leverage on critical sectors to scale them up through<\/em>
\na value chain approach.<\/em><\/p>\n

Allow me to take this opportunity to extend my most sincere gratitude for the hospitality<\/em>
\nyour Country and your people continue to grant to the Italian community living in Kenya.<\/em>
\nThey are part of Kenya\u2019s economic and social progress.<\/em><\/p>\n

I will actively engage to further step-up the EU-Kenya relations. At the international level,<\/em>
\nI shall seek convergence with Kenya on shared priorities, and to address global challenges,<\/em>
\nwhile contributing to promote peace, security, and prosperity.<\/em><\/p>\n

I now have the honour to present to Your Excellency the Letter of Recall of my<\/em>
\nPredecessor and my Credentials by which His Excellency Sergio Mattarella has appointed<\/em>
\nme to be the next Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy<\/em>
\nto the Republic of Kenya”<\/em><\/p>\n
