Westgate Attack – Message from the President of the Republic of Italy, Giorgio Napolitano, to the President of Kenya, H. E. Uhuru Kenyatta

In the name of the Italian people and mine personally, I wish to express my deepest condolences for the victims of this barbaric terrorist act which has shaken the capital of your Country, alongside feelings of solidarity and closeness to the wounded and their families.

While I emphasize, in the most rigorous terms, the condemnation for any form of terrorism, I express the wish that the operations by the Kenyan security forces, still ongoing, can be concluded successfully and as quickly as possible.
