On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Seychelles, allow me the pleasure in presenting to you our heartfelt congratulations on your re-election as the new president of Italy.
I believe that your experience and statesmanship are essential at this time of great turbulence in the European and global economy.
Seychelles and Italy have enjoyed a most amicable relationship since the establishment of our diplomatic relations. We have cooperated in various areas over the years and have been grateful for your nation’s support and collaboration.
It is our genuine hope that relations between Seychelles and Italy continue to expand and strengthen. I thus look forward to continue working with you in the spirit of our shared values and interests.
