NEW LOCALIZATION FORM FOR PASSENGERS ARRIVING IN ITALY FROM 24 MAY 2021.

Starting from May 24th, 2021, anyone entering Italy, for any length of time, from foreign countries or territories, including Kenya and Seychelles, on any means of transport, before entering the national territory is required to fill in the Passenger Locator Form in digital format in the following ways:

1. Connect to the website https://app.euplf.eu/#/

2. Follow the wizard to access the dPLF

3. Choose “Italy” as the destination country

4. Register on the website by creating a personal account with a username and a password (only the first time)

5. Fill in and send the dPLF following the wizard.

Once the form has been sent, the passenger will receive an email at the email address indicated during registration with the dPLF in pdf and the QR code which shall be shown directly from the smartphone (in digital format) during boarding time and to anyone appointed to carry out controls. Alternatively, the passenger can print a copy of the dPLF pdf to be shown at boarding time.

The dPLF shall be completed and sent before boarding. In any case, the field related to the seat number assigned on the means of transport will always be editable.

A form shall be completed for each adult passenger; in the event of the presence of minors, they can be registered in the accompanying adult form. In case of unaccompanied minors, the guardian shall fill in the dPLF before departure.

The compilation of the digital form replaces the declaration referred to in art. 50, paragraph 1, of the decree of the President of the Council of Ministers of 2nd March 2021. In exceptional cases, or only in the case of technological impediments, it will be possible to fill in the paper form. It should be noted that the self-declaration made to the Border Police shall always be shown on paper.
