The official visit to Italy by the President of the Republic of Kenya, William Ruto, took place on April 20 and 21.
President Ruto met with the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Lorenzo Fontana.
During the visit, strategic agreements were signed in the fields of justice, defense, and cooperation. A three-year Action Plan was also adopted under the Mattei Plan for Africa, and the Italy–Kenya Business Forum was held, with the participation of over 200 companies.
